Flaming Cliffs 3 vs F-15C for DCS World

Is there a difference between the F-15C provided as part of Flaming Cliffs 3 (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/flaming_cliffs_3/) and the F-15C for DCS World (http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/products/eagle/)?

Nope. they are identical..

 

For those that have FC3 they don't need to buy a seperate copy as it's already patched in.

The F-15C module has a standalone manual (not covering the other aircraft in FC3). The FC3 included manual covers all of the FC3 aircraft. The information in the F-15C standalone manual may be more up-to-date but that is just a guess.

 

Aside from that, there is no difference.

What about core stuff such as AI aircrafts / units and missions?

 

I would be tempted to purchase the su27 and f15 over fc3 as I'm not interested in the a10a nor su25, I just want to make sure I would get all the AI units missions campaigns etc.

DCS World is designed as a core that the modules plug into.

 

DCSW handles all the AI and units, so you always have access to those, even if you don't buy any modules.

 

Missions and Campaigns are module specific. I do believe that FC3 contains all the F-15 and Su-27 missions/campaigns though.

The campaigns are aircraft specific, so if you by the F-15C then you will get the appropriate campaigns, which are also included in FC3. The AI units are part of DCS World itself so they will be present regardless which aircraft you own.

 

I might suggest downloading DCS World, since it is free, which includes two flyable aircraft. This will allow you to take a look at the mission editor and see, for yourself, what types of units and mission making possibilities are available.

FC3's f 15c is same as DCS F-15 it's same for Su 27. I think they are made so you don't have to buy whole game if you only want one airplane.
