Spetz Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I've got the brakes set to the pinky lever on on warthog HOTAS (just like the mug itself) but they only hold the jet to about 83% for N1. The manual says they will hold to approx 100% (no afterburner). Other than that it works fine. Also tried it holding just the W key, same thing. Anyone else have this one issue?
Tartan_Piper Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Make sure you move the Nosegear brake lever to the horizontal position after taxing. Cheers Tartan. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic4896_2.gif[/sIGPIC]
Grizzly1606688174 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 As Tartan Piper says. Make sure brake lever is set to LND and not NAV. I believe it activates/deactivates brakes on the nosegear but I might be wrong. Its the big white lever that either turns 12 or 3 o' clock, located right above your artificial horizon.
Spetz Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 Thanks. I'll try again. Pretty sure I had it horizontal (nose wheel locked) but may be wrong.
mvsgas Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 You say 83% in N1, how much on N2? If it is at 100% and N2 being the HP compressor, it sound about right. To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
