Chappie Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Ever since IL-2 Sturmovik (1LC), I have been hooked. Such firepower and armor but surprising a Russian team is not doing their patriotic duty for this aircraft featured so prominently in the Great Patriotic War of 1943. It would be an honor and a privilege to fly this bird and see the flight and damage model Yo-Yo makes for it. Not sure if planned, but smaller bombers may be doable and the Ju-88 and slightly larger He-111 may be possible over the B-17.
Kurfürst Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Meh. Really?:worthy: :smilewink: Remember that we're getting Northern Europe for our WW2 combat operations. Good intentions, but Il-2 wouldn't fit in. We need a B-17 or a B-24. I am looking forward to the Me-262 and any other German aircraft. Maybe the P-47 but German tech of WWII really intrigues me.
fastfreddie Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Love to see the Ju88, Me410, and Stuka in DCS. Hopefully they address the Eastern Front at some point and we get to see Russian planes and bombers.
ED Team NineLine Posted December 30, 2014 ED Team Posted December 30, 2014 I would love to see a bomber of any shape or size from WWII at a DCS level... Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
fastfreddie Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I would love to see a bomber of any shape or size from WWII at a DCS level... To bad the flyable B-17 wasn't part of the DCS WWII debacle but I'm not sure if that wouldn't of sunk the whole project lol. Maybe we'll see a twin engine bomber soon enough ...2020?

fastfreddie Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Well VEAO is doing a Mosquito... Well I guess its good we have the 262 coming so something can shoot it down.
Mobius_cz Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 During kickstarter campaing we saw possible aircraft list which includes even JU-88 and Me-410 so by my guess it is possible to develop these aircrafts. But i have a feeling that this is not the way ED wants to go. We will have several WWII era aircrafts. Back to the topic. IL-2 is really an iconic ground attack plane and i hope we will see it one day. Heinkel 111 is by far my most favourite medium bomber plane and i can't really tell why :D Ju-188 is an interesting choice because JU-188 A2 model was equipped with Jumo 213 A engines. As you know this engines is already developed (Fw 190 D9). Off topic: Before the end of 2013 Wags one said we will not get any news on DCS F-18C until August 2014 and hell yeah!! FW-190 Dora 9 was realeased in August and we got news on a lot of project in September. ED has probably very excited development roadmap we will never see  And that leads me to one thing, i want to keep my hope that we will see a lot planes we are talking about now  [sIGPIC]http://dcs-uvp.cz/images/userbars/uvp_bars_mic.gif[/sIGPIC]
