mikethemadmonk Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I am not the brightest star in the universe when it comes to computing. I am desperately trying to set up my pc and Ipad for the "Touch control interface. However I am floundering under pages of text and have no idea what to do next. So far I have got the Touch control admin set up and Trying to figure out the Touch control server. I also purchased the "IrCommand2, Autohotkey, and IrTrans" but have no idea where the actually reside. If any kind pilot would care to enlighten me in simple terms, step by step, I would gladly send him a Christmas card in due course.:helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

mikethemadmonk Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Sorry, not sure what you are referring to.
Boltz Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I believe Puma was referring to iControl DCS It's excellent software and very easy to setup. I use it every time I fly at the moment. http://bit-shift.com/icontroldcs/index.html A-10C Cockpit Build Thread My YouTube Channel

mikethemadmonk Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 Thanks Boltz, looks very interesting. Is there only support for the A-10 or can you switch aircraft? Also is it relatively easy to set up? I'm 72 but still flying.
Boltz Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Only the A-10 and yes it is easy to set up. Just install the software and there is a very simple checklist to get it all working. When everything shows in green on the interface you are ready to fly. A-10C Cockpit Build Thread My YouTube Channel
mikethemadmonk Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 Why would I need Arduino2DCS? This is kind of expensive. Is it absolutely necessary.
