ANGST Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 (edited) I work with tons of different software at work , even QA/Beta commercial software. All the vendors have a consolidated known bugs list . I would hope to heck , that the devs at ED have a list like this that they are working from . Why don't they release their "1.2.14.xxx known bugs list" ? Or do they and I am missing it ? Hopefully each bug has a tracking number and they are using bugzilla or something to work on them . Hey , if ED needs a PM for their QA dept , I will send you my resume. ;) https://www.bugzilla.org/about/ Edited February 7, 2015 by ANGST
cichlidfan Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 ED does not publish a known bugs list. EDIT: They do have an internal bug database/tracker with tracking numbers. They just don't provide access to the information it contains. It would certainly be helpful to us , rather then having to comb the forums to realize that the F-16 pods are a known bug (for example) .
IceGryphon Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 It would certainly be helpful to us , rather then having to comb the forums to realize that the F-16 pods are a known bug (for example) . Would also stop redundant bug reports.
ED Team NineLine Posted February 10, 2015 ED Team Posted February 10, 2015 It would certainly be helpful to us , rather then having to comb the forums to realize that the F-16 pods are a known bug (for example) . Not find it first , then search the forums . The F-16 object bug is easy to find so it was a poor example , there are plenty of other bugs out there that are mentioned as "confirmed" in the middle of a 34 page thread.
Cali Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 A tester.mod use to keep a running list of this, but it hasn't been updated in a long time. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
GGTharos Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 It isn't going to happen. It was decided a long time ago for a bunch of reasons that it would not be done. Since the question is answered, I'm closing the thread. It would certainly be helpful to us , rather then having to comb the forums to realize that the F-16 pods are a known bug (for example) .
