FONS Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Hi, i saw videos with people recording with free camera movement around the map (with this i mean 3rd person not the pilot view). How can they do this? Is it a mod? Also, in case someone know how they do that, do they do it just in single player or could it be done in multiplayer too? Thanks in advance. Example: Also, a good C-101 edit. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] SystemCPU: i7 4790K GPU: Asus GTX 970 4Gb MOBO: Asus Z97 PRO RAM: 16Gb OS: Win10 x64
Blooze Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) Try F2 then LCTL+F11 Click HERE for other view options. If you are making videos it is much easier to make them from recorded tracks rather than during a mission. You can record either SP or MP missions and use the views from the link in either one. Awesome man, thank you very much, i looked for this in google and found nothing, not even that post. I have a question, when you say "If you are making videos it is much easier to make them from recorded tracks rather than during a mission. You can record either SP or MP missions and use the views from the link in either one" Do you mean with this that i can like save a replay with some dcs feature and then move the camera of said replay with the shortcuts of the link you just passed? That's what i get from that phrase, and if i am correct, i would appreciate a lot if you tell me how could i save said track, i have no idea on how to do that, in case i got you fine... and i don't see that in the link you passed. Again, thank you very much sir. Much appreciated. Edited February 14, 2015 by FONS [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] SystemCPU: i7 4790K GPU: Asus GTX 970 4Gb MOBO: Asus Z97 PRO RAM: 16Gb OS: Win10 x64
cichlidfan Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 (edited) After you complete a mission in Single Player, below the briefing screen is a button to save the track. EDIT: MP works differently. Tracks are saved automatically, IIRC, under Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer. I might be wrong about the saved location since I rarely play MP. Blooze Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 After you have saved your tracks, open DCS World and select Replay and you should see both MP and SP missions listed. After the selected mission has loaded, hit the pause/break key to un-pause the mission. If all you see is the map screen just wait a while until the playback reaches the point at which you entered the mission and that should put you in the cockpit. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
