Shaman Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I can speak from past experience that g-byte boards are crap. Gigabyte graphics board works very good for me. 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
Prophet_169th Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I had a Gigabyte 6800GT, that thing rocked. Overclocked well, and had a monster dual-side heatsink.
overalien Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 yup, FPS increase here as well, although not quite the 10 -15 FPS reported. tearing with TIR about the same as it's always been (running GByte 7800 GTX with 16AF and 8AA). :pilotfly: __________________ overalien Hog Driver starting to really like the Tomcat System specs: Intel i7-8700k - OC to 5.0 GHz | 32 GB RAM 3600 MHz | Nvidia 1080ti SLi | Mixed Storage - Win 10 and DCS on Samsung SSD 970 Pro Flightgear: 7 Displays (3 x 1440p, 1 X 1080p, 3 X Lilliput Touch) | 3 x Cougar MFDs | Warthog HOTAS | Thrustmaster TPR Pedals | iBEAM Shaker + Simshaker for Aviators w. 504 Wolverine Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Just to let everyone know that since I switched to these drivers I have had 4 CTD's, the screen has been flickering in game and the cloud texture bug is back. Going to go back to 84.21's [/url]
Shaman Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Thanks for the info, Wolverine. Do you have the "shorelines bug" with 84.21? Because I still have. 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
AJ.eightFive Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 I've had the shoreline bug for as long as I can remember... I don't recall coming across any driver or LO patch that fixed it.
Zuki Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 I've had the shoreline bug for as long as I can remember... I don't recall coming across any driver or LO patch that fixed it. I use 77.77, and don't have it.... also its the only driver that I can find that I don't get these corrupted clouds. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Zuki" Resident mud mover CH HOTAS untill it breaks(for life)! Necroscope Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Gm... Here is Fraps data, from my own test track. Athlon 3200+, 1Gb, 6600GT, Audigy ZX. 84.43 vs 76.50(IMHO best for LO). Looks good. Всех убью, один останусь!
emenance Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 the 77 drivers really were good for me , i used them for along time in the 6600 gt . And now this a new card, so now I kinda have to roll with the newer drivers. Owell . Would like to see more charts though thanks for da post man.
