Once you've waded through the various download pages, download speed (for me anyway) was very fast. So maybe not so cr@ppy after all. :-)

I enjoyed the movie. You've got some great scenes in there, and some very nice ideas/views. Well done.

Man, oh man, since initiating the download I am getting popups galore. Please for your own safety don't download from that lame host. I suggest you upload to rapidshare or something like that.

I look forward to finishing the download and then watching it.

FWIW I'm getting no popups since the popups which happen during the initial download process. I suspect you have to be careful to close those windows down without clicking anywhere inside them, as well as using the usual "software condoms" necessary for any browsing session these days.

PS I use Google Toolbar's popup blocker. Perhaps that's what's protecting me? A quick check with Ad-aware shows nothing other than the usual rash of infective stuff you can pick up just about everywhere. I usually just run that once a week to make sure I'm not dragging around more than my fair share of internet garbage.

Ditto no annoying pop ups for me either luckily.

DazzyD - get this onto the usual suspects sites, it deserves a wider audience - nicest movie I've seen in a while.

I love the shot from inside the IR missile seeker just before launch - a real nice idea!

Thanks for the great feedback guys,

I`m sorry for your download experiance, unfortunatly its all i could get my hands on at the time,

When i get chance a will move it to another server

Again my apologies.

P.s. I did all the file uploading/Downloading with FireFox, Maybe thats why there were only 2 or 3 popups IE lets everything through.

Why don't you try Opera or Firefox as browsers? It will take little time to acomodate with the improvements and the insane speed of browsing (giving that you will use "mousegestures" too).

This is a small cut from my screen picturing the Opera tool bar.

operatoolbar0ic.jpg

It has just "save", "magic wand" and "reload", everything else is done by mouse gestures. I have problems not to try to use the manuvres in Windows Explorer :) . Middle mouse click and back-forward mouse clicks are in my blood now.

And finaly when a pop up gets thru Opera's pop up blocker it must be Easter or Chrismas.

And on topic.

The movie is showing a lot of effort from the author and thus the quality is quite high but... it has something that most of Lock On films are suffering (sorry =EF=DAZZYD that I say it firstly to you) it has no coherent story. It is imposible to me to believe that you didn't see the IL-2 movies made by IL-2 machinima authors, the best of them have great stories. They picture stories of real or made-up characters, peoples that you can identify and you like whatching their adventures unfold. The lock On game engine has big potential of sequence show off but if not suported by "decent" stories the final product may seam a little dull. In my opinion this is the case here and in many other movies. Ok I'll say it... in Glowing Amraams movies are most obvious :megalol: .

Look, lets question ourselves this: "Why <Titanic> had to have that rather ridiculous story?" Because the sinking sequence wouldn't be enough :P .

Now, don't take this as bashing but rather as constructive criticism and at least give me a head start... like I'm already in a F-15 airborne fleeing away :D .
