Mizzy Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) The alpha channel on the new Su24 for the cockpit glass was far too light, so I have made it look like proper cockpit glass. I have also done a rework for the Typhoon. The pictures attached show BOTH the old glass and the new, it's pretty obvious which is which. I have uploaded it to the user file section under Mizzy, it's not showing up yet though. Mizzy Edited February 21, 2015 by Mizzy
NRG-Vampire Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) I have made it look like proper cockpit glass. nice  are you going to release individually ? or within the next patch officially ? I have also done a rework for the Typhoon. and the Typhoon ? looks that the old (lom-to-edm) model, right ? will be pushed into DCSW (officially by VEAO) as an AI AC maybe ? (in the next patch as well) :) Edited February 21, 2015 by NRG-Vampire
flanker1 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 very good mizzy. . . please release it for the community i had already posted the milky glass in the bug section - but no fixing.
Mizzy Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Yes Flanky, it was a matter of alpha channel saturation which gave it that milky look. I have uploaded it to user files on the ED main page :-) The Typhoon was a model someone posted to me a while ago, I have no idea where it comes from or who did it. I am assuming it's a legal model !! Mizzy
flanker1 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 excellent work, mizzy - like always. thank you very much!
flanker1 Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 mizzy, can you please get your magic hand on the 3-d-model of the su-24 and lower it a little bit? it touches not exactly the ground in my opinion and and floats like the flying carpet in app.20cm above it. . . can you please have a look?

Sorry for the very late reply Flanky but I have no knowledge of the 3D model of the Su-24 as this is nothing I have been involved with or ever lightly to be. I think the 'sinking' of the wheels is a 3D placement issue that only the model designers can cure ! Anyway I have held off any buggering about with mods until the DCS 2 arrives and then ..whooo another time spent on my favorite hobby even though I am now over 50 years old and when I started playing with Eagle Dynamics products I was in my late 30s !! Where has the time gone ? Mizzy
