tale Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Hello world (I should have started my first post like this) Anyway, to the point. Is there any way to see the route of your plane group in the map once inside a mission? I see there is a button up and left on the map view saying “show all routes” or something like that, but it doesn’t seem to do anything when pressed. Flying is fantastic, but add a few missiles and explosions and it becomes addictive. --------- http://www.youtube.com/c/taletoul

But, as mentioned, you can use the kneeboard (RShift-K) and mark your position on it with RCtrl-K.
tale Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Thank you guys. I knew about the kneeboard, although I never got to use it much; but was hoping the show routes button was functional too. nomdeplume Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I think the show routes is button is for ground units. At least if you have the appropriate view options set and you click on a ground group you can see its path. Never seen anything similar for air units.

The Ka-50 within its ABRIS moving map will plot your path as you fly along. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Exorcet Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 You can take an image of your mission editor or mission planner page and save the image, then import it into the mission file. You'll be able to see this image by bringing up the briefing.
