Lost F-4E default aircraft?

Could anybody help me,I seem to have foolishly lost/deleted my AI F-4E aircraft from DCS World is there a way to replace them,please?

I think uninstalling a certain F-4E Mod that does'nt work anymore since updates made it so.

To run a repair go to the Windows start menu, then All Programs, open the Eagle Dynamics and DCS World folders, and you'll see a repair DCS World program file there.

 

Just double click it, and it'll run an integrity check and download and replace any missing/faulty files.

Click on Start then in the search box type Repair DCS and it will come up. Same with updates if it is not updating automatically type update DCS.

Ok,I repaired my DCS World,however I still don't see the AI deafult F-4E showing up,if I use 'Mission Editor' it's not there with the other aircraft,I have tried Cap,Ground Attack,Inteceptor,Cas you name it,to try and see if it comes up and it does'nt.

 

Where should it be within the files of DCS World,can anybody throw a light on this,this is really strange :doh:

thats the definition file for the F-4E, but anyway, DCS repair SHOULD in any case replace lost or edited files, so there might be another problem there.

Thanks Roadrunner,it's nice to be able check these files are in their rightful place,and it is,it's there so I'm not sure what else I can do,but anyway thank you for pointing me in the right direction,so I could check the file was there :thumbup:

It may be that a file in your saved games folder is to blame. If you back it up to a location DCS World doesn't use, and then delete the original in the saved games, and then run DCS World, it should create a new one. If the F-4E is back, then you know where to start looking for the culprit.

 

The saved games stuff isn't changed by updates and repairs.
