Luftwoller Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Hi all, I had an Idea today. Just one mind you. Im sure there are many people with knowledge to spare and possibly the time as well, but has anyone thought about doing a open viewing thingy. Like you can do in steam by watching another's game. You can see im no techy here but surely its possible to watch someone elses pc while listening to them talking. Im thinking of a workshop type of thing, where, say, you could do one on mission building, for example. Where someone who knows his stuff could do examples. Different to youtube demos in that you could ask questions...ie how do you add a convoy, trigger points etc. etc. Just an idea but potentially a good one. Just need some REALLY helpful peeps to get the ball rolling, ...Guy Helicopters!! Never trust anything that screws itself into the air!
flask Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 There is a wealth of knowledge out there in the community, that imho is unused, we have official appointed moderators, we have official appointed beta testers, I obviously might not see the whole picture but why not official online surgeries, basic flying Instruction to advanced,( on each study , obviously DCS partners would need to supply someone who knows their particular sim) and yes as you say mission editing doctors, Id like to add I feel there is a lot of unused servers out there and unused talent. Doesn't have to be someone who went to Mig 21 University ( as an example)but say an enthusiastic person who want to pass his or her knowledge on to get the most out of their purchase . I for one need help badly but feel as I am not in a squad( I do want to join one but cannot commit at the moment) I am at kind of at a loss, as the manuals are great for some people but not all.

Luftwoller Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 Maybe the person can do a stream or something. Any volunteers? That's the thing I was on about, A live stream. ...Guy Helicopters!! Never trust anything that screws itself into the air!
