MrSloanes Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Ive recently bought the A-10 module and have noticed pretty quickly that my usual basic profile i make for planes such as the hawk wont cut it. Im looking for a good X52 profile that works. I have searched the internet to find absolutely nothing that works and i need some help. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] YouTube Channel
feefifofum Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/267093/ Here ya go! I don't fly with an X-52 so I can't attest to the quality of the profile, but a friend of mine says this one's a winner. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Tone71 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) I always find creating my own profile for an aircraft helps me to more easily remember what each button does, and it is tailored more to suit my needs. Should you decide to go down this route, I have created a printable template for the X52 Pro, so you can make a note of your button assignments: showthread.php?t=119086 Edited June 16, 2015 by Tone71 Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.
McBlemmen Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Tone71 is right , you should make your own profile. However, if you're new to the a-10 (or any hotas aircraft , really) i believe you should use a pre-made profile to learn what all the functions do. Then you can use that knowledge to make your own setup.
StrongHarm Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 People have said good things about my profile. I can't say it would be perfect for you, but I'm a Business Intelligence Architect so I know about user interface and intuitive operation. I spent a lot of time analyzing and refining this one. Hope it saves you some time. You can download it from this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=59208 It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
