Nascar Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Is the Buttkicker 2 powerful enough in your opinion or would you purchase a separate transducer and a more powerful amp? How many transducers would be optimal for DCS? Could you recommend better transducers, amps and a good sound card? Thanks for your input. TomOnSteam Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 With the buttkicker it all depends how high the incoming sound is. To give an example, when I had a buttkicker game v2 turned all the way up and fired the GAU-8 cannon the A-10C, my chair office chair moved about 3cm backwards (with 80kg of me sitting on the chair). My only issue with the buttkicker is that it was too loud for apartment use. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cockpit Spectator Mode
Nascar Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 Tom couldn't you adjust it to a reasonable level? After looking around it seems to be the easiest option so I ordered one. Thanks for the feedback. Sabre-TLA Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I have a ButtKicker 2 as well and it's great. Just plug and play but you do need to set the level that you are comfortable with. There are other more complicated setups but this was the easiest IMO. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
