I am running Windows 7 SP 1 on hp pavilion HPE h8-1150uk desk top.

i7 Intel Core 2600 running @ 3.4GHz 16Gb RAM: GPU GT 530 with 2GB RAM

Had similar problem with FC3, overcame this by loading FC3 in root directory instead of program files, did the same here but no luck.

Hope someone can help.

I don't think that graphics card has much hope of running DCS at any kind of acceptable level.

Check your anti-virus client! Make sure it is disabled when installing DCS and that you white-list the DCS World program folder and the Saved Games folder.

Thanks, I did disable the Mcafee anti virus before installing. Regarding whitelisting, the Mcafee is not blocking the program if that is what you are implying.

try going into the start menu, there's that search bar there, copy and paste "regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\ntdll.dll"

and then restart.

if that doesn't fix it, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003

though you might need an older version too, since their not backwards compatible.

Many thanks for your reply, this is the message I get when I run your script

then you need to go to that link and download all the C++ redistributables, or maybe find a new ntdll.dll from the net somewhere and register it.

c is like the most common windows programming language, and ntdll.dll is a core part of it... dunno what you did to your windows install to screw that up... might even consider re-installing windows...

Thanks Hadwell and all other forum Members, the solution was much simpler than the last posting by Hadwell. I run 'Hitman Pro Alert', as soon as I deleted it and restarted the computer the game ran with no problems. I now wonder if this was also blocking my attempts at adding new GPU's I will enquire with the software company.

Thanks again everyone for your efforts and time.
