Kenan Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I was wondering how come they didn't eject..untill I read it was right after the take off. It must have been sudden for them not being able to react in time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Commanding Officer of: 2nd Company 1st financial guard battalion "Mrcine" See our squads here and our . MiG21bisFishbedL Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I was wondering how come they didn't eject..untill I read it was right after the take off. It must have been sudden for them not being able to react in time. Sounds like they got hit with asymmetric thrust. A sharp bank to the left? Sounds like they didn't maintain VMC. Then again, I know nothing about the SU-24's properties as an airframe and I'm just a jerk that flies more modest things. Reformers hate him! This one weird trick found by a bush pilot will make gunfighter obsessed old farts angry at your multi-role carrier deck line up!
gear_monkey Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I'm by no means an SU-24 pilot but that is a centerline thrust aircraft much like a T-38 or F-18. They have no Vmc. Win 10 64bit; 32 GB DDR4 3200 Ram; ASUS MoBo; 1TB SSD;Intel i7 8700K; GTX 1080ti 11GB; Thrustmaster Warthog;Odyssey + VR
