C-101 Poor Performance and CTDs

Hi all,

 

I bought the C-101 in this weekends sale, and in some respects it looks great, but I have two issues...

 

First, when I enter the cold start mission the framerate is appalling, with long pauses and freezes at points. The Mig-21 is demanding, but this seems to be on a whole new level.

 

Second, in the attached mission I get an instant CTD on entering the cockpit. I've attached the dcs.log as well in case that's useful.

Can't help you since i don't know about all this tech stuff but i can confirm my game also crashes when loading that mission

It doesn't do anything like that on my DCS installation. Do you have any mods installed? It sometimes messes up existing modules. Also, opening the "Cold start" mission in the mission builder and saving it again sometimes helps.

Thanks for the replies, I don't think I have any mods installed. I did have Devrim's English cockpit mod for the mi8, but I don't think that's still there.

That is not really a mod anyways, only textures. But if those are your system specs in your sig, an upgrade of your system with a new vid-card or CPU might do some good as well.
