FOXFIRE TWOONE Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 My computer freezes and some x52 functions do not work. I have seen some threads that others are having some of the same issues. Are their any fixes that anyone know of. If not I hope that a repair will come before 1.5, if not, I am glad that I have Project Cars. Built new computer just for the two sim's, but P Cars is working fine. :( :) Intel core I9 10900K 3.7 ghz Asrock Z490 Extreme4 G-SKill Ripjaws V 32GB Cooler Master 120m GTX 980 Superclocked Corsair AX850w psu Samsung 1 T M.2 2 X 850 ssd's Sony 48 in HD TV Trackir 5 Hotas Warthog F/A-18C Hornet Grip Logitech Pro Peddles Windows 10 64
Tone71 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Not being rude but you might be better off joining those threads, rather than starting a new one. I was going to link you to them anyway! Either try the older Saitek drivers (some have had luck with v6) or wait for new Win10 drivers (which Saitek/Madcatz say are on the way). Tone71 Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Let me know how you get on as i haven't made the leap on my desktop yet for this very reason! :-) Windows 10 Home, Intel Core i7-9700K @ 4.6GHz, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (8GB VRAM) on 34" LG curved monitor @ 3440x1440, 32GB RAM, TrackIR 3 (with Vector Expansion), Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Pedals, Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs.
HiJack Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Windows 10 is a no-go still I think. It implements a new way of locking out bad drivers that makes your computer extremely slow and making the mouse freeze. The only way to get out of that situation is to use ALT+F4 until you see the Windows shutdown dialog and select shut down. So Windows 10 needs quite a bit of time with third party driver developers I think. It sure is strange that the release of Windows 10 come as a surprise on many developers. :(
HiJack Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 New Windows 10 build released. I will wait for Saitek before trying again but if you have problems you should switch to FAST ring and get the update (if you are Windows 10 Insider).
