gospadin Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 The behavior of rudder pedals and trim/force trim seems different between Huey and Mi-8, and I'm curious it's by design or accidental. On the Huey, when I press the force trim button with rudder trim enabled, the new trim offset doesn't feel like it takes effect until I move the pedals myself to a different position than the one I just offset with trim. On the Mi-8, when I trim the rudder, the system immediately takes as input my deflected-from-center rudder position, and stacks that on top of the trim setting, which causes a significant tail waggle when trimming. Is this difference expected? Am I imagining things? My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
Cibit Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 There are rudder trim check boxes in special options tab for both helos, see if they are set differently:) The tail of the Mi-8 does not twitch very much at all compared to the huey waggle i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
