BackboneOne Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 has anyone found a way to edit\customize ejected pilot skin in current version for A-10C? i was looking for answer for years)) all custom pilot skins are turn back to default "eagle driver" skin after hog driver ejecting. no jokes about "don't get hit\don't get ejected" please. thank you MB: Asus ROG Strix Z390-E \ CPU: i9-9900K NZXT Kraken X52\ DDR4: 3000MHz G.SKILL Trident Z Royal 32Gb RAM \ VID: MSI Nvidia RTX4070 12GB \ MON: Samsung ue49ks8000 49'', Lilliput 8'' x2 CNTRL: Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog \ Saitek Combat Rudder pedals \ TrackIR 5 \ Thrustmaster MFD Cougar Pack
jocko417 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Yes, it's possible. I can't remember where the ejected texture is located or what it's called. It is different from the usual pilot texture, much simpler, and, if memory serves, uses a single arm mirrored on both sides so shoulder patches are out :-/

BackboneOne Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 (edited) livery = { {"pilot_F15_patch", 0 ,"f15_decol_empty",true}; sorry, but last question)) this line removes any patches from ejected pilot body. is there any way to just edit "pilot_f15_patch_65a_sqdn.tga" and leave it visible? UPD: nevermind, i figure everything out) thank you all! uscstaylor Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Guys I know this is an old post but I am in need of the ejected pilot skin for the f-18. Can someone help me find it. Thanks
uscstaylor Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Guys I got the pilots skin in cockpit in a tan suit, then he ejects in his acesII seat but turns green for 1-2 seconds then he turns tan again from my new skin. My question is this, what's the skins name of the pilot in the aces II seat once it ejects from cockpit please....Im almost finished this little mod.

BackboneOne Posted October 22, 2016 Author Posted October 22, 2016 for example, my customized skin's lua looks like this: livery = { {"A-10C_PAINT_1-a", 0 ,"a-10c_47th fs_1-a_152",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-b", 0 ,"a-10c_47th fs_1-b",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-c", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-c",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-d", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-d",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-e", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-e",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-f", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-f",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-g", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-g",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-h", 0 ,"a-10c_47th fs_1-h_152",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-i", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-i",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-j", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-j",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-k", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-k",true}; {"A-10C_PAINT_1-L", 0 ,"A-10C_47th FS_1-L",true}; {"A-10_Number", 0 ,"TactNumbers-USAF-Light_black",true}; {"A-10_Number_Noze_F", 0 ,"empty",true}; {"A-10_Number_Noze_T", 0 ,"TactNumbers-USAF-Light_black",true}; {"A-10_Number_Wheel", 0 ,"empty",true}; {"pilot_a10_body", 0 ,"A-10CPilot_47thFS_Backbone", true}; {"pilot_a10_helmet", 0 , "helmet_camo", true}; {"pilot_F15_patch", 0 ,"patches_47thFS",true}; {"pilot_F15_00_body", 0 ,"pilot_f15_00_a",true}; {"pilot_F15_00_helmet", 0 ,"helmet_camo",true} } countries = {"USA"} and you need your customized pilot_F15_00_helmet and pilot_F15_00_body files to be in your bazar\temp textures as well. uscstaylor Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) Thanks for replying Bone I got it fixed I'm just trying to do the pilot patches now in the f1 view when your looking down at the pilot's body. I have created personal squadron patches but I cant seem to figure out how to make an alpha channel. I took this file made in PSP Then I made this in TGA 24 bit uncompressed, but there's no alpha channel.... Edited October 29, 2016 by uscstaylor

Weird I cant get it to work.... If I replace the patch file with a fresh one it will load once then after that it goes back to the orginal f-15 pilot...Cant figure this out...anyone else have any ideas..
