Trailer Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Since I'm not ready to begin the study-sim of the A-10C, I was wondering if I could substitute the A-10C module for the A-10A in FC3. For example, would it be possible to play Hand of God with the A-10A?
mwd2 Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Without take a closer look into the mission file, you will have a big problem to interact with the JTAC! baltic_dragon Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Yeah, all depends on how the mission is built and how does it use the radios. Still, I would strongly suggest you DO go for A-10C :D it is really rewarding! For more information, please visit my website. Trailer Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 Oh I will eventually, once I learn it completely and reconfigure my flight stick. I'll probably get the X55 first, however.
feefifofum Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 I think the biggest obstacle you'll encounter flying A-10C missions in the A-10A is probably situations where you are given coordinates to fly to..I haven't flown Hand of God yet, personally, but many of the missions in the style with random taskings will be difficult to fly without constantly using the F10 map to locate waypoints. Now, find a buddy to fly it with you in an A-10C, however, and you can run almost anything in the A-10A. I fly pretty regularly with a friend who only has the FC3 aircraft, and we've played Bactria, ISIS Crisis, and Welcome to Suse with him in the A-10A; as long as you have somebody to follow to targets, you're good to go! Shoot me a PM if you need a wingman. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
