I'm using the steam version (which means I'm running DCS by using a shortcut for DCS.exe and not through steam).

I tried to take some screenshots using the printscreen/sysRQ key but can't find where they are saved.

In the Cold start mission after startup I lowered the flaps fully using the 'F' key and only the right flap lowered and the left flap remained unchanged. After takeoff I looked at the outside view and both flaps were fully lowered.

I noticed this too, its the generator, or hydraulics low pressure while rpm are at idle. If you throttle up a bit then they all work. Not sure if its a bug or feature

I think you're right. Closing air brakes initially took a lot of time. However after applying some RPM they opened and closed faster. Also applying some RPM led to the lowering of the left flap.

Here are the screen shots if anybody's interested.

I think it also affects the nosewheel steering mechanism (it's hydraulic after all). That's probably why I couldn't steer after landing with my engine RPMs very low.
