Hey Guys,

i´ve got the problem that the game freezes after a undifined time.

This can be after a few secounds or after 30 minutes.

The problem with this is that it is not detected as a crash, only the "monitor" freezes, sound and so on is still running. As i klick with the mouse the message "no response from DCS" will come.

I´ve got a i7-4930K@3,4GHz; 16GB RAM; Windows 7 Professional (64Bit); Warthog Hotas; Saitek Rudders, Track IR 5; AMD Radeon R9 290X.....

Everything is up to date.

Iam running DCS via Steam as open Beta Version.

Tried the autorepairer from Steam, but no corruped datas found.

Tried to delete the saved games folder as in another thread posted with game crash issues.

I´ll attach my dcs.log but as i told before there is no dcs.crash.log data

Hope that you have an idea for my problem

Best regards

Did a freeze happend before with other Programms as well, or just with DCS 1.5?

In many cases it is a technical related issue that rests on Problems somewhere on your Hardware, such as the Harddrive, RAM or the Gfx card. You´d try out tools like Cristaldiscinfo and memtest to test your harddrive and your RAM, later on put the gfx card on a stresstest. All this is required to exclude a Hardware reason for your issue.

Report back once you finished all your tests and if you can be sure that its not the Hardware.

I did:

- 1 hour Memtest without errors

- Cristaldiscinfo with the result good

- FurMark as a Benchmark with no rendering errors

seems that my hardware is fine....

any other ideas for my problem?

I don't use Steam but I am getting freezes in Multi-player to the point where I can't use the MP yet. It only started occurring after the latest hot fix for 1.5. I don't have any issues with any other programs.

It's starting to get a little lonely without MP.....having some withdrawal symptoms.....

It´s possible that its a multiplayer issue...

most time i spend in multiplayer, but i did a short mission in SP without freeze.

Will try to figure this out in longer SP missions

My freezes have been in MP, i spend very little time in SP unless i'm testing something or recording a trackfile for bug reporting - since injecting the 15.5 dlls i have not seen a freeze up.

Try the solution mentioned here:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2504006&postcount=2

Afterwards, go into Module Manager and log in again.

I have more and more the suspicion that it might be the Network.vault that causes the problem.

I think ED maybe changed the protection part when they made the small update.

System specs:

Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440)

Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use

Ok. Sorry to hear that.

And sorry I missed that also.

The Network.cfg was something left over from my old install.

1.5 only has Options.lua and Network.vault.
