DJ 9mm Posted June 8, 2006 Author Posted June 8, 2006 sweet. maybe logitech will come out with a head tracker, and undercut trackIR by quite a bit...
Force_Feedback Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 sweet. maybe logitech will come out with a head tracker, and undercut trackIR by quite a bit... Let's hope so, 160 bucks for an ir strobe is expensive (not, not for the ones like on the Su-25T :P), we can buy a really expensive remote control for that money, and it will use RF technology, and no infrared. (Hint for logitech and trackir d00dz, drop the IR stuff, go to RF.) Can that cam also animate a hat with a reflector on it? The problem with these things is that they eat away on resources, and since lomac is already maxing out everything known to men and advanced alien species, they might consider putting the software into the device in stead of onto our HD, RAM and CPU(s). I remember playing basketball with my hand in some puter shop 6-7 years ago, same technology, but this one does head tracking. Can't wait for homemade porn made with those, wonder what the bunny will do. Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Weta43 Posted June 8, 2006 Posted June 8, 2006 Personally, I'd rather have an infra-red diode pointing at my head than bathe it in even more electro-magnetic radiation (if I fancied that I could just sleep with my cell phone velcro-ed to my head). Cheers.
