Vanguardqi Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 (edited) I have installed DCS 1.5 Beta on steam and stand alone version. Everytime i try to go into a game, i crash when reaching "Loading Land surface". Same problem in both version. Quick search in the forum tells me no one else is having this problem. Finyo Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Hi all! I have the same problem during mission loading since updating to 1.5.2. When then loading screen is shown and the status line says "Loading Land surface" the game crashes with message "DCS has stopped working". I tried to debug the failure but what I see is that there's always an unhandled exception and several threads quit with the message: "The thread 0x68c has exited with code 0 (0x0)." Can it be a problem that in the debug it says: "'DCS.exe' (Win32):..." although I have 64 bit Windows? The funny thing is that I tried to run tha game now countless times and on a few occasions it loaded the mission successfully but then it crached again without changing anything. Do you have any ideas? Thanks!

Ghost_SWE Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Ok. i seem to have fixed it. I deleted the mod folder (C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods) and ran repair dcs world. Then i ran the game in windows vista compatibility mode and administrator mode and it seems to work now.
