I have Vsync enabled in the setting and for some reason I'm getting tearing in the cockpit when I look around with Trackir? Anyone know why this could be happening? Thanks!

Try going to your nvidia control panel and enabling adaptive vsync and turning vsync off in the DCS options instead. Also hit Right ALT + ENTER for full screen mode in the mission. I and others are getting good results with that.

Same issue here. The suggestions didn't help. Without TrackIR running, I'm smooth as silk, and can use keyboard view positioning without tearing.

Get TrackIR into the game, and I'm tearing screens like a Clinton shredder.

Force vsynch in drivers panel also let vsynch on in game options. Check if fps jumps above you refresh.

This!

Edit: I'm using trackIR aswell, without problems. Hovers around 59 to 61 fps.

Ive had these problems appear after installing the latest Nvidia drivers. However quitting the game, going into the Nvidia control options (even though all the settings remained the same) and restarting the game seemed to solve the issue for me. (Also running with vsync OFF in the game, adaptive vsync ON in nvidia control panel, and LALT+ENTER in game)

Found an answer for me in an unrelated forum.

Turn Areo in Win7 ON. Turn off game vsync and leave it on in NVIDIA Control Panel.

(Should already be running Run full screen mode via Alt - Enter

Running Aero left me with some minor stuttering, but the tearing is GONE.

There is no longer an option in DCS for /turning off/ Aero. "Aero" refers to the technology whereby everything you see and touch in Windows is rendered by DirectX, whether a game or a normal desktop app. Windows 7 onwards use that system by default, hence ED having removed the option to switch it off.

UltraMFCD 3.0 in the works.

Which DCS exe file does the Nvidia control panel use? Thanks!
