when i try to enable (LAlt+Enter) cross fire the two MFCDs screens (A10-C) move to the Main 4K screen.

all resolutions set to 100% (no scale).

the configuration is attached.

same setup was always work with previous versions (1.2 ...)

looks like no one has same issue or same/similar setup.

i didn't see it was addressed except mixed displays resolution used as CF in full screen.

i see no reply or interest from ED (very strange)

will wait to final release, may be it will be solved by then.

the Cross Fire not usable for current release.

I have the same issue, running 2560 on main and 1080 for a helios setup on monitor below for my exports.

 

The only way to get crossfire working is to not run the exports, (2560 resolution instead of 4580) otherwise everything is compressed onto one screen like yours. Would be nice to finally get CF to work with this sim with my set up, huge difference in FPS

good to see I'm not alone, run w/o export is not an option for cockpit builders even small one as mine. The investments in second graphic card and second/third displays is significant to throw it away.

the reply from ED will be appreciated - at least to know if this issue will be addressed.

edit fyi, dont have the problem in 1.2

 

sure it's related - but still no comments from ED.

No SLI/Crossfire for now for multi-screen users. To me not using additional MFDs - not an option.

I understand it's open beta. In the 132nd, we have training and mission nights twice a week, so a working install is very important to me. That's why we are still using DCS 1.2 until all bugs are ironed out. :)

 

Until that's the case we have fun (lots of it!) with 1.2 and wait patiently! :)

Yes it doesn't work. Never has! It is the pain you will find in tons of threads in this forum over many years. Especially the ones about SoftTH.

 

Short version: DCS only supports Monitor exports (to other screens) in windowed mode.

That is why many cockpit builders were using softTH which gave you the ability to run fullscreen mode (technically) while rendering that renderarea over multiple and also partial screens and even each part in different resolutions if needed.

You only went over your resolution as much as you needed and still had the fullscreen mode performance bonus.

 

I speak in the past because SoftTH only works with dx9 (DCS 1.2) so at the moment we're all waiting for the release of SofTH 3.0 which is supposed to support dx11.

Unfortunately that date is unknown so for now its either windowed OR no exports to other screens :(

On a second thougth this pain I described might be a different (less) issue since Nvidia surround and eyefinity came along though people using it would still gain performance out of softTH.
