Are 1.5 hotfixes being pushed to Steam?

How can I tell? When I open the game it says DCS 1.5.0.

 

Should it say something different?

 

I want to make sure I am running the latest hotfix before reporting bugs. The Properties>Updates>"View DCS World update history" doesn't mention updated.

Hi there,

 

Search for and run "Update DCS Open Beta" in your start menu. This will run a check to make sure you are running the latest version. If it needs updating, it will do so.

also when you start DCS in the main screen bottom right you will see the version number.

 

current version is 1.5.0.46175 and my steam version has updated to that already.

The correct version number was being covered up by the steam in-game overlay, thats why I wasn't seeing it.

 

Also, searching for "Update DCS Open Beta" on Windows 10 didn't find anything. I looked in the game folder and didn't see any kind of an update utility. Maybe this doesn't exist for Steam?

Correct, Steam handles updates and repairs differently to the stand alone version
