Model visibility and reduce resolution problem

Hi I can't get the model visibility working on crossfire because it give me frame freeze, so I can't spot anything with my native resolution 3840 X 2160 and I can't reduce my resolution to spot contact because I can't clic on any icon or system.

 

It's been talk about on other part of the forum but I don't have a confirmation if it's been noted to fix it.

Just to rule out any issues with your options setting, can you rename your saved games open.beta folder ( keeping it as a backup as it has your input folder )

 

C:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta

 

then restart open beta, it will create a new one. Redo your options and resolution in game and let me know if you still have the same issue.

rename to anything you like, it will be there as a backup with your input folder, which you can move to the newly created one once dcs has created it to save redoing your controls.

just something which you know what is... DCS.openbetaOLD, for instance. So if you need to revert to it, you can by renaming again to the original file name

Yes, there are two reports ongoing about the enlarge feature which is being tweaked, and crossfire issues which ED are also looking into. These issue effect your problem and are being worked on.
