Oculus Rift DK2 and DCS World 1.5

 

The biggest thing that perturbs me is the various things I need to do outside of the HOTAS like hitting certain keys or key combinations. I'm sure it is something that one could get used to.

Its much easier than you would think. For starters you can see your keyboard down through the crack between the rift and your nose but also its very easy to flip switches etc in the cockpit with the mouse. I hardly use the keyboard any more tbh. I pretty much have all the controls I need assigned to my HOTAS and everything else I do using the mouse in the cockpit.

Plus we could use voice commands as well which would help with comms

looks for a really cool free program called glovepie for voice commands for anything. its not supported any more but it works great, i love it
