Nealius Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I've recently been having a problem with the Su-25T moving once the engines are spinning, despite my throttle being at 0 (confirmed with Shift+Enter controls view). Upon looking at the tachometer is is reading about 3500-3600, when the manual states it should be at 3300. Although high, 3500-3600 shouldn't be enough to move the jet. At least it normally doesn't and I need at least 4500 to get the jet taxiing. On a related note, is there any way to program rudder pedal toe brakes to the Su-25?
Buzzles Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I'd spotted the rolling on idle as well, I haven't used the 25T enough to say if it's correct behaviour, although I'd be quite suprised if it is, especially when fully loaded. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
Nealius Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Still having this issue, although with the Su-25A as well. Loaded with 6x FAB500s it will still move on engine start, at 36% RPM, while pressing the wheel brakes. Considering with that load it takes 60% RPM to initiate taxi, the jet should not be rolling at 36% RPM.
aap_flanker Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Have you checked the throttle axis calibration...?? mvsgas Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 This might help http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=155099&highlight=brakes To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
