ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 8, 2015 ED Team Share Posted November 8, 2015 Seems ok my end. Can you check your option, do you have extreme set in the option for view distance? kam
I was using Ultra distance setting, I just tried every one from Low to Extreme and there's no difference. This wasn't present in the last update and from what I see BST changed some values for the colour of the window. Long shot but maybe those changes are related to the issue of characters being drawn as a box? here Intel 5820k | Asus X-99A | Crucial 16GB | Powercolor Devil RX580 8GB | Win 10 x64 | Oculus Rift | https://gallery.ksotov.co.uk Patiently waiting for: DCS: Panavia Tornado, DCS: SA-2 Guideline, DCS: SA-3 Goa, DCS: S-300 Grumble
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted November 8, 2015 ED Team Share Posted November 8, 2015 Thanks, just posted this. I am wondering if this is a Graphics setting issue? anti-aliasing in particular if I remember correctly ( it has been a while since I had ATI ) you can set the filter to box, is that setting still available? kam
http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2548138&postcount=8 Looks like 1.5 really doesn't want to load/display .tga files for a few of us. But this file was fine in the last patch as a .dds. piXel496
Sorry for being irritating determined to try to solve your bug, but I have the best intentions. Deleting the .zip and a repair might not fix your issue because the file that reads the images from the .zip is not in the .zip file itself (I do not know where it is). Thats why uninstalling the module and reinstalling is better. If that is what you did and still have the same issue, just for debugging. You could make a copy of file UH1_glass_refl.tga on your desktop and name it UH1_glass_refl.tga.dds (thats the old name) and throw it in UH-1H-CPT-TEXTURES.zip. Although I know the extension .dds is not necessarily read by files used in DCS. I tried and it still worked on my side, I deleted the .tga and only had the .tga.dds. :dontgetit: old stuff I made

Wedge
Black ops, not even the pilots can know where they are heading... Tried to uninstall and reinstall GFX card drivers? I used to get this WAAAAY back whilst playing Falcon 4.0. Since then, I started using DDU to get rid of old drivers and residual files before installing new ones. kam
I haven't reinstalled the drivers yet because to me it seems there's a flaw within the 1.5 beta so I'd rather try to find the definite cause of it. The Huey glass was fine in the last patch, DCS 1.2 doesn't have any problems, so something has changed. kam
Still not correct in the latest openbeta update.. First shot is after damaging the aircraft, which isn't hard for me to do.
