Hoggorm Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 Hi, I unable to save ROE and Alarm state together with an template... Is this not possible or am I doing something wrong..? Thank you
Bewsher Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 (edited) Alarms work with SEAD missions with the Tornado GR4. Are you trying to save alarms in a template as in weapon load using a weapons mod too? Edited November 8, 2015 by Bewsher
Hoggorm Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 The template is a SA-8 OSA with ammo truck. The SA-8 I'd like to have in Alarm state RED and ROE Hold Fire. However after saving the template and placing the group on the map the Alarm state and ROE is removed...
Bewsher Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 (edited) Ok from what im reading you want the SAMS to hold fire and not launch at NATO aircraft! But the ROE is gone. Ok no idea here. Edited November 8, 2015 by Bewsher
Hoggorm Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 Yes, that is correct. I'd like their radars to be on, but not to fire until a human player enters them via CA (tactical commander)
Wrecking Crew Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 You need to set the two with Advanced Waypoint Action at the SP. WC 1 Visit the Hollo Pointe DCS World server -- an open server with a variety of COOP & H2H missions including Combined Arms. All released missions are available for free download, modification and public hosting, from my Wrecking Crew Projects site.
Sryan Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 The templates do not store waypoint data and the likes iirc. Templates are more for storing configurations of units like the more complex SAM batteries or historically correct unit compositions. Do you want to place several units of the same type and same waypoint rules on the map? You can select the unit you wish to clone, press the COPY ( CTRL C ) key and then hit the PASTE ( CTRL V ) key somewhere else. the placement is not perfect but easy to correct. The functions you placed on the waypoints should be copied but you might need to do a bit of adjustment on the waypoint locations. Check my F-15C guide
Hoggorm Posted November 9, 2015 Author Posted November 9, 2015 press the COPY ( CTRL C ) key and then hit the PASTE ( CTRL V ) key somewhere else. This worked. Thank you :)
