Would post this in the Wishlist section but i cannot post there.

I would very much like to see these aircraft implemented into DCS because the Vulcan is a V bomber capable of dropping conventional or nuclear ordnance as well as being able to out maneuver an F-4 Phantom at high altitude as well as doing some long distance missions such as during the Falkands Conflict using Multiple tankers to air to air refuel and continue mission. I would also the T-45C being somewhat like the Hawk T1 but navalised with a stronger frame, gear as well as the addition of a tailhook, it would also allow the USS Nimitz to have a place as well especially when other naval fighters roll out. The last thing i want to suggest is an overhaul to the A10C module with regards to the training module because as we all know it is unrealistic in that does not proper employment of features such as the radios, ILS, TACAN as well as many other features such as weapons deployment nor does the tutorial tell you specific key binding names with regards the mapping in case the're not pre-mapped for any reason - Thoughts and opinions?

A sound idea - however the Vulcan would most likely need a new combat theatre (Falklands would be great but as a conflict it includes Ascension Island and Argentina - which would make the map a truly phenomenal size - Outerra could do it, but EDGE might not be able to support a map of such massive sizes (somebody correct me) But as a map it would have to be East Argentina, the Falkland Islands, Ascension Island and maybe even the island of Georgia.

The T-45C would require a new carrier - we have carriers for it but I must say they are pretty awful at the moment and really need heavily upgrading - the ship aspect on the whole requires redoing/upgrading massively before we can see serious carrier/ship operations.

A good idea for the aircraft though

True however there are some issues, the only airworthy Vulcan has stopped flying due to funding and maintenance issues which will limit how 'real' the in game one could feel but then again whose to say that money can't be raised to get up again however in saying that there are a lot of historical documentation of the aircraft. And as for the T-45 there could also be a problem that it is a operational military aircraft however it is just a trainer so what could be the worst that could happen right? we have the A-10A/C. It has also been made in games like FSX so it couldn't be too far away for VEAO to model it as they already have done the Hawk and it would make a fine Variation of such an aircraft.

The good thing about the Vulcan, as sad as it is that XH558 has been forced to stop flying (but still doing ground runs!), is that there's a bunch of pilots who've clocked up some hours over the past few years, there's a decent technical team still around, and a lot of the information is available.

I don't expect to see one outside of an AI model in DCS though if we were to get one. It'd be a massive project and it's a rather niche aircraft, so I can't see it being viable for any of the devs.

The Vulcan was also in service recently enough for service pilots to be consulted. I'd say it is very much a candidate.

As for maps, is area a limitation, or just the volume of data for large areas of terrain? If the majority of a map is over sea, wouldn't that make a large map area feasible?

I cannot see how the current map size could be an issue as the Vulcan is a sub sonic aircraft however papi lights at all airfields or even a large airport with proper facilitys for Vulcan would be a good idea as i believe it may not fit on the taxi ways of most current airfields

The current map is perfectly okay for the Vulcan, but for the Vulcan it would probably best to have a theatre that's a little more suitable for it - such as the South Atlantic for Ascension Island and the Falklands - which would be a perfect theatre for the Vulcan - the only time it was used in anger during the 1982 Falklands War. The F/A-18C has an upcoming theatre that's more suited to it - the Straight of Hormuz. The issue is I doubt ED would consider making maps that are suited to individual aircraft (though I still think the current Black Sea Map is in serious need of some redoing to get it up to current standards). Anyway I fear that I'm going too off topic here so let's get back to what we were talking about. The Vulcan should be a relatively easy-ish aircraft to model - the only more complex stuff is the Vulcan's bombing computer and it's limited ground mapping RADAR. The rest of it should be relatively straight forward (IRIS did a good job at recreating the Vulcan for FSX/P3D, why can't DCS?).

Hmm this is all true, as for the computer i believe it is based in a WW2 Bombing one of sorts, so i'm sure there will be a wealth of information somewhere and i did like flying the FSX one but i was itching to drop nukes, speaking of which if the mig 21 cannot have its nuke in multiplayer (most servers ban them) I highly doubt the Vulcan will be allowed a yellow sun for example.
