wilbur81 Posted October 11, 2016 Posted October 11, 2016 Not Resolved reinstalled everything and still getting same results, nothing left to do from our side, next update should fix this. Meanwhile, someone from ED needs to remove the word "resolved" from this thread as the latest update has actually introduced this problem for me and not resolved it for several others. i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC - 55 inch 4k Display
archer86 Posted October 12, 2016 Posted October 12, 2016 Meanwhile, someone from ED needs to remove the word "resolved" from this thread as the latest update has actually introduced this problem for me and not resolved it for several others. This! Word should be changed to "REPORTED" not "RESOLVED". Once they had fixed as theropod mentioned before but that was long ago.
wilbur81 Posted October 14, 2016 Posted October 14, 2016 Someone "Official" willing to pipe in here? DCS 2.0 becomes unplayable when I apply rudder since last weeks 2.0 update. Would love some help or at least an answer as to why the 'update/revert' versions command prompt approach doesn't work. Thanks in advance! i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC - 55 inch 4k Display
theropod Posted October 15, 2016 Author Posted October 15, 2016 2.0.3 update 2 was ok but all i know is that problem certainly appeared after update 3. i dont know what has changed on f-15 between those updates but i am sure that this change became our exact problem. if you read my previous posts on this thread, you can easily notice that the fixes on axis problem is not stable, i had reported all my observations on every update. yes, that makes feel desperate but still i am keeping my hopes for next updates on both version.
wilbur81 Posted October 15, 2016 Posted October 15, 2016 F15 is the problem I tried other FC3 aircraft today and axis movement had no effect on FPS...only the F-15C is having the problem... and only (for me) since 2.0.3's 3rd and latest update. A fix would be greatly appreciated. i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC - 55 inch 4k Display

theropod Posted October 31, 2016 Author Posted October 31, 2016 ^^^^ At least a patch for this axis FPS F-15C bug in 2016? +1 i tought the same. maybe they had searching to fix that issue completely within past two weeks, that make me feel positive a little.
archer86 Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 I didnt fly with F-15 for two weeks or more, that is frustrating for an Eagle fan!
theropod Posted November 5, 2016 Author Posted November 5, 2016 (edited) nothing has fixed with 1.5.5 open beta version, i had hope about a complete fix but now i understood that the fix wont be happen. at least there could be a little improvement on fps. now keeping my hopes for dcs 2.0 open alpha Edited November 5, 2016 by theropod

AnY Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 (edited) nothing has fixed with 1.5.5 open beta version. Still need to use vjoy for F15 aircraft. I tried to clean install Windows 7, Windows 10 joystick cobra m5, Saitek Cyborg X, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, pedals "Hall sensor + Arduino Leonardo".I also tried to set the DCS on the rudder dead zones at 90%, and sought to move the pedals still 50% = drop fps. On the plane F15, you can set a total of 22 axis. Fps drop 15 axis. https://goo.gl/photos/1sHbn1CRofZXVJC69 https://goo.gl/photos/4CarFywSfSjEH5Vn7 Fps remains stable 7 axis "absolute horizontal view camera, absolute vertical view camera, zoom, all movement of the head" Translated by Google. archer86 Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 That is serious issue for both 1.5.5 and 2.0.3 versions, must have be added to the fix list! This thread will be a year old:(
theropod Posted November 12, 2016 Author Posted November 12, 2016 (edited) Despite overall performance increase with 1.5.5 latest patch, f-15's issue still exists. i see 20fps when i move aileron controller. nothing improved on this issue. i waited impatiently for this patch but now i am disappointed again:( Edited November 12, 2016 by theropod
archer86 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 today I hope there will be a magic fix for f-15 with 2.0.3 update
wilbur81 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 today I hope there will be a magic fix for f-15 with 2.0.3 update Yes, I hope so too! PS - you mean 2.0.4? i7 8700K @ Stock - Win10 64 - 32 RAM - RTX 3080 12gb OC - 55 inch 4k Display
archer86 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 PS - you mean 2.0.4? Yes, I wrote before 2.0.4 announcement:)
theropod Posted November 19, 2016 Author Posted November 19, 2016 with 2.0.4 update, dcs runs very smooth and i see more stable fps numbers. Overall good update but unfortunately f-15 still same! i only gained 7 fps when i compare with 2.0.3 latest update. when i move aileron fastly, i see 9 fps :(

Overall good update but unfortunately f-15 still same! i only gained 7 fps when i compare with 2.0.3 latest update. when i move aileron fastly, i see 9 fps :( So strange... with the latest update, I no longer get the F-15 axis fps drop. What is with this particular bug that is so, well, particular? i guees so, my issue is only on joystick controller, especially with aileron control. weird thing is why it effects only f-15? there is more complex and full fidelity aircrafts modules for dcs and i had never seen any fps drop on their axis movements. can anyone guide me to solve this issue, any idea?:helpsmilie:

Vjoy Link: http://vjoystick.sourceforge.net/site/index.php/download-a-install/download UJR Link: http://evilc.com/joomla/articles/9-code/autohotkey/1-ujr-universal-joystick-remapper Thank you for your interest AnY, i tried those before but nothing changed. i hadnt time to test both 1.5.5 and 2.0.4 updates, yesterday i tested and results are awesome for both. Thank you ED, my fps numbers improved , nothing noticable while flying, all smooth now except over las vegas and that is normal for my system when i check the fps with fraps or frame counter, i still see some fps drop but small numbers like 60 to 45( now this numbers are small for me:)) this latest updates are medicine for my issue:thumbup: Edited December 13, 2016 by theropod
theropod Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 Unfortunately, i noticed fps drop with the 1.5.6 open beta again. both aileron and elevator axis effected.
archer86 Posted February 2, 2017 Posted February 2, 2017 Yeah, its back for me too, I have noticed the same, but also there is overall game performance issues with 1.5.6 ob.
theropod Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 With second 1.5.6 ob update, it shows 10 fps and eagle is unflyable now. it is like a slideshow when i move elevator and aileron.:( But, 2.0.5 version is awesome, no fps drop at all. very fluent while performing maneuvers, it is better for me to fly eagle with only DCS 2.0.5:thumbup:
theropod Posted February 19, 2017 Author Posted February 19, 2017 i had just tested the F-15 with latest 1.5.6 release and noticed that the problem fixed for now:thumbup: thank you ED! i hope this will be permenant fix for this issue
