DerekSpeare Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) It was great to see new release notes and a new update today. TYVM ED. I fired up the SU25T training mission #1 to do some testing. Sadly, however, I can't manually start the engines when told to do so, even when pressing the correct buttons like instructed. The engines just won't fire up. I created a mission as well with the SU-25T for takeoff cold from the ramp and no joy there, either. It's not a big deal, but it's worth reporting for posterity. Buzzles Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Er, there's no Su-27T in the game. Do you mean the Su-27 (Flanker) or the Su-25T (Frogfoot)? Just created a new mission via the editor and the Su-25T works fine for me (barring the engines being swapped over still). Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
majapahit Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 if you're talking Su-27 none of its missile logic is fixed won't scan until < 8mi, won't lock until 7mi, wont scan after change target etc don't even bother | VR goggles | Autopilot panel | Headtracker | TM HOTAS | G920 HOTAS | MS FFB 2 | Throttle Quadrants | 8600K | GTX 1080 | 64GB RAM| Win 10 x64 | Voicerecognition | 50" UHD TV monitor | 40" 1080p TV monitor | 2x 24" 1080p side monitors | 24" 1080p touchscreen |
DerekSpeare Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 Sry - It's the SU25T. My error. NTM: pls correct the mistaken title. TY. DerekSpeare Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 This problem still exists. No matter what I do, the engines in the SU25T will not start. The green lights on the panel flash very briefly but the engines do not come up. NB: The title of the tread is in error. Please correct if possible. Buzzles Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 You're going to have to post a track file, going by description doesn't help anyone, especially not ED. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
wolf_SRB Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Be sure that your throttle is all the way back, before starting.

aap_flanker Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Here's a video showing what's (not) going on :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFbfIAkpIdI It's not a game issue. Look at your throtle... it's not in the "0%" position, it looks like you have set it 10% or something like that... You will not be able to start engines if the throtle is in a position greater than 0%. Check the calibratiion of your joystick (throtle axis) in the device manager. Devrim Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 By the way; Derek, what's wrong with your headtracker? You're closing to the gauges but there's huge space between you and them, but HUD box is almost touching your forehead. :) Is that your setting? DerekSpeare Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) I'm using the Oculus so the FOV on the screen will be wonky compared with what I am actually seeing in the cockpit with the visor. Believe me, it's perfect there ;) Edited December 9, 2015 by DerekSpeare Derek "BoxxMann" Speare derekspearedesigns.com 25,000+ Gaming Enthusiasts Trust DSD Components to Perform! i7-11700k 4.9g | RTX3080ti (finally!)| 64gb Ram | 2TB NVME PCIE4| Reverb G1 | CH Pro Throt/Fighterstick Pro | 4 DSD Boxes Falcon XT/AT/3.0/4.0 | LB2 | DCS | LOMAC Been Flight Simming Since 1988!
