terminator363 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 I really think the dev team should focus on upgrading the A model to an SM. It's outdated, obsolete and the T model is not a replacement since it never really saw combat in real life. The SM would make perfect sense. 1 Happy Bug Hunting!
Boberro Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 T saw combat... in Chechnya, quicky one ;) Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ

terminator363 Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 I would too if its full fidelity. Happy Bug Hunting!
whitehot Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 I'll buy the SM as a full module, without the need of converting the A version - in fact the A is an important plane to have for scenarios based in the 80ies. I feel that the SM though is very much needed, and that there is not much on it being that secret not to allow it to be simmed. theGozr Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 SU-25's all the way! :) Great aircraft. Fly it like you stole it..
Flogger23m Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 My understanding is that the SM does not bring too much new to the table. While it is more advanced than the T in some ways it also takes a few steps back. I'd be interested in buying an FC3 version if it was priced right, but there are other aircraft I'd rather see. If some talented individuals got together to make a free mod this would be a good place to start. The flight model and weapon systems are mostly done. Avionics and HUD would still need to be done from scratch but it is easier to chew than starting an entirely new project. Sadly it seems modding is more or less dead these days.
