Content in DCS 2.0

I'm still waiting for the downloads to finish (started over 24 hours ago) so I can't test this amazing map and 2.0 myself.

 

Since the Red Flag campaigns are not out yet, I wanted to know what kind of content (if any) is there in the base 2.0 install?

The Caucasus map is not compatible with 2.0 so I assume all the missions there are not available.

 

Are there any single player missions for any aircraft? Or it's basically scenery flying? Do we have a quick mission generator for NTTR?

The Eagle Dynamics aircraft have instant action missions in the alpha.

What Wags said. Was pleasantly surprised by that. The quick mission generator seems not to be working at the moment. Even though the UI is there, I assume it's coming at some point. Also I imagine plenty of new user made missions will appear soon enough, the editor seems to work fine.

Yeah, it is cool - except if you dont pay 50$ for new map you cant fly at all.

I suggest you wait for full release next time then, Alpha should tell you all you need to know about the experience you might see.

Man that sucks, I didn't realize 1.5 broke as soon as 2.0a alpha became available.... Whatever will you do? :doh:
