recoil17 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Tonight at Nellis I requested an aircraft repair and after a countdown the A-10C was jacked up into the air, some panels opened up, repairs made and lowered back to the ground. Is this new in 2.0? I only did one repair in 1.5 and I don't remember that happening. Hard to see in the picture but it's fully suspended in the air "Simultaneous selection of fuel dump and afterburner during high AOA maneuvering may cause fuel to ignite with resulting fuselage damage."
Sryan Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 It did that in 1.5 and I even believe it did that in 1.2 Check my F-15C guide
Ripcord03 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 It did that in 1.5 and I even believe it did that in 1.2 that is correct, it has existed for quite a while, i believe it was present in the standalone DCS: A-10C also if i remember correctly.
Kayos Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Does it do that for all planes or only A-10C? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Ripcord03 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I can't attest to other planes too much, but none of the WWII plane's have panels that open during repair, but i believe the F86F does, and the KA-50 might, its been a while since i have flown either of those 2 modules and repaired though.
v2tec Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 It's still the same animation. BUT it would be great to have more detailled ground animations, e.g. people mounting weapons when rearming, crew / repair truck is coming to the plane during we wait the 120 seconds... When you eject, you can walk around, so we have the ground/walking animations. Would be great if you could enter another plane or vehicle (if combined arms module is active). Or you leave the briefing room and walk to your plane. Or you just leave and enter the plane with nice pilot animations like star citizen... ________________________ ________ ______ ___ __ _ Win10 64 Pro, i7-6800K 3.4Ghz, 32 GB (DDR4), Asus Aorus 1080 TI WF, TrackIR 5 / RIFT, Thrustmaster Warthog, Fanatec Pedals, 55" oled 4k TV, Modules:A10C, KA-50, Huey, AV-8B, FA-18, F-16, NTTR, Persian Gulf _ __ ___ ____ _____ ______ _______ ____________
