Thanks
DirtyFret Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 What DCS version are you using? What mission is this happening in? Does this happen everytime or sometimes or rarely? Do you have random failures enables? Are you 100% that you have no conflicting keybinds? Could you provide a track please? And yes Im 100% sure no binding conflicts I removed all mouse/stick bindings and only set the ones i use to my x55 rhino How do I provide a track and where would I find this I will provide it next time it happens ? Thanks
Demonloads Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 I have birds enabled could it be this i have it on but never see any lol is this normal
tecumseh Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Try removing all bindings from Engine Auto Shutdown and see if it still happens.
Yurgon Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 I can be flying to a way point nice and steady no stress on the ka 50 then at random my abris goes off then i here switches being flicked and finally engine shuts down [...] I can only think of one reason for switches being flicked without user interactuion: The shutdown cheat. You should double and triple check that this is not mapped to any key and button. If it was a random failure, the Abris might simply go off, but the button would remain in the "On" position. Besides, I don't think any missions in the Deployment campaign force any failures (except maybe one alarm start mission, but I don't want to spoil the fun here. Once you get to it, you'll know what I mean :D). Uploading tracks: After each mission, in the debriefing screen, you get the chance to "Save Track" (not available if you start a mission from the main menu item "Training", but in the campaign it should be there). Save it to any place where you can easily find it and then upload it. Make the track as short as possible and as long as necessary. After the problem shows, quit the mission immediately and save the track. When you upload the track, make sure to note: - your DCS version - quick description of when the problem will show In order to attach a track to a post, you may need to "Go advanced" and then look for the button "Manage Attachments". Let us know if you need further help with this. So Im running the stock DCS Black Shark Kamov-50: Attack Helicopter Version 1.0.2 via steam Are you sure it's version 1.0.2? That is very old and discontinued. The current version (and the only one Steam currently sells as far as I know) is Black Shark 2 for DCS World, and the version number is probably something like 1.2.16. Black Shark 1 tracks are not compatible with Black Shark 2, so chances are only a few people here might be able to play the track and point out what they find (I own BS1, but haven't had it installed for years). If you like it, you should think about getting Black Shark 2 for DCS World, there are many, and massive, improvements over BS1, but be aware that BS2 will also require much better hardware.
