xgibbousx Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Just created a buy, sell, trade group for flight-sim stuff at the following link: http://allbst.com/FlightSimStuff I posted a few things for sale in there to give you an idea of how it works. Really easy to use. Just post any used or new flight-sim related stuff for sale there and anyone else can buy it from you. Is this something you think we can use here?
Sporg Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 We already have a sale group here, in the HW section: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=144 System specs: Gigabyte Aorus Master, i7 9700K@std, GTX 1080TI OC, 32 GB 3000 MHz RAM, NVMe M.2 SSD, Oculus Quest VR (2x1600x1440) Warthog HOTAS w/150mm extension, Slaw pedals, Gametrix Jetseat, TrackIR for monitor use
cichlidfan Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Why is this better than Ebay? ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! xgibbousx Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 Why is this better than Ebay? Because this is based around a group of people with a common interest/hobby buying and selling stuff with each other within that interest group. There is community focus on allBST. Ebay is based around one person selling to many in a bidding format without a focus on an interest group. There is no community focus on Ebay. In other words, allBST is setup more like a forum (with cells of interests called groups) with a focus on buy, sell, and trade.
xgibbousx Posted December 8, 2015 Author Posted December 8, 2015 We already have a sale group here, in the HW section: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=144 Sure, but I think allBST offers some major advantages over the current HW section: 1. Seamless one-click buys using PayPal. 2. Group creators get 2.5% of all sales within their group; instantly transferred to their own PayPal account. 3. Integrated shipping tracking and product returns backed up by PayPal. 4. Frictionless onboarding with Facebook sign up and login. 5. Easy group and product promotion with integrated Facebook sharing. 6. Private message sellers and comment on their offerings. 7. Visually browse with pleasure on desktop as well as mobile devices. 8. Comprehensive account features for managing groups, products, and purchases. 9. Powerful group admin features like creating admins, banning users, and deleting products. Anybody can easily create a group around any interest. Anybody can easily post products within those groups. I think its the easiest way for people to quickly create a buy, sell, trade group right now and start doing commerce with each other. It has tons of commerce related features missing from forum platforms.

piXel496 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) ..Is this something you think we can use here? No. and Forum rules: 1.9 Advertisement of any products or services without prior consent from the forum staff is strictly prohibited. .:vertag: Edited December 16, 2015 by piXel496 I am not interested and succes with the 2.5% old stuff I made
BaconSarnie Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 No. Forum rules: 1.9 Advertisement of any products or services without prior consent from the forum staff is strictly prohibited. He made this post 4 months ago, I would assume the forum staff would have recieved notification from someone of its existance in that time. As its still here I would once more assume that it is allowable. However I could be wrong. And lo, Reverend Vegas did say "Take forth unto the infidel the mighty GAU 8 and expend its holy 30MM so that freedom will be brung upon them who knoweth not the joys of BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT" "Amen"
piXel496 Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 He made this post 4 months ago... On my calendar it is 8 days ago. If the particular subject is "bumped" with a commercial clip of a selling-site after a week and in the post before that its filled with empty superlatives like: Seamless one-click, Frictionless onboarding, Visually browse with pleasure. And there is an obvious personal gain for the poster in doing so. I would say forum rule 1.9 starts to apply. If not, I am still not interested. :) old stuff I made
