DCS Nevada 2.0 TTR MAP Graphics

Gentlemen

 

I need help in finding the answer to this:

I watched a Video on Youtube and the title is: " DCS Nevada 2.0 Alpha-1080P 60 FPS".

The Video Time is 33.18 and it"s BY Range79 Productions.

 

In the Video the A-10C is being flown over Las Vegas and a voice say's "If you want to

improve the Visual Effects Turn ON Master Effect Lazary Shade with Reborn.

When that option was chosen the Graphics turn into something we ALL should be able

to enjoy. I contacted DCS support and a Tech. said it must be a Add-ON.

Would someone watch the Video and try to find out if this option can be found ?

I agree I posted about how the colors and light in the Nevada DCS is missing some punch.. I do calibrate my monitors a lot and to me atm DCS looks too yellowish and no day light punch.. If many of us are using the SFX to fix this problem it is because there is something not right. I hope they will check their setting and make it official on the next update.

 

There is a good reason why pilots wear Sunglasses up high.. and Navada is not missing sun light IRL.

Hell no :D. I keep my Dell monitor rather dark (brightness at 14%, contrast at 75) and for me, Nevada set on "summer", 12:00, with HDR on is very bright, almost bleached, with terrain features and details poorly visible. Can't imagine having it even brighter - with Dell "gaming" preset it's almost unplayable, burning my eyes out. Thats why I keep the brightness at 14% and still fly almost only in "fall" afternoon conditions.

 

Colour palette preference is very subjective thing, if folks want to change it with SFX, let'em do it, but I think current default setup is a reasonable compromise, with maybe just some minor tweaks required here and there.

Has any had success in installing and running Mastereffect in DCS World 2.0 Nevada ?
