Azrayen Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Nope. BTW: French pilots speak english now (at least on the radio) ;)
Redglyph Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 They already have the accent, that counts for something :) (I'm French BTW, not making fun) System specs: Win7 x64 | CPU: i7-4770K | RAM: 16 GB | GPU: GTX 980 Ti 6 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS | MFG rudder pedals | SATA3 SSD | TrackIR
flyingscotsman Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 All pilots have to speak English when flying, same with ATC, so we can cross borders seamlessly . Many years ago French ATC had a dispute of some sort and reverted to French only, sure cut down on the number of planes they bothered to speak to, but it caused 'concern' to the other 80% of planes in the air at the time, lol. Now the give lots of notice and just go on strike hoho.
flyingscotsman Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I'm a Brit who was not born metric, so I'm waiting for some one to notice the Gauges in KIlo's don't move as quickly as the ones in pounds, gee I'm gonna get my plane filled with KIlo's next time lol
flyingscotsman Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I am going to struggle with the cockpit, but one fine looking plane, well worth it.
Harry.R Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Can we have the option of a bottle of red at lunch before an afternoon sortie? :joystick:
snowsniper Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 All pilots have to speak English when flying, same with ATC, . when you pick up a SU27 in NELLIS don't seems to speak english in ATC. :music_whistling: i7-10700KF CPU 3.80GHz - 32 GO Ram - - nVidia RTX 2070 - SSD Samsung EVO with LG TV screen 40" in 3840x2150 - cockpit scale 1:1 - MS FFB2 Joystick - COUGAR F16 throttle - Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals
deephack Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 French comms would be very cool even if not strictly accurate. Should be easy to implement via a mod too. Any of you Francophones feeling up for it? https://www.youtube.com/user/deephack
Quent Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 As already stated above, the french pilots now use the Mandated International Aviation Language. That means English. Kind regards, Quentin. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic105862_2.gif[/sIGPIC]
Maico249th Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 They already have the accent, that counts for something :) (I'm French BTW, not making fun) Yes, it was quite refreshing to hear the accent today. Adds a touch of immersion. Lucky I don't have to learn French. LOL I will learn what I have to for the systems and pit. Viva La France!
