VTB_Bingo Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 I didn't have 1.2.16, so I downloaded the 1.5 version from the site. It's installed, but everytime I run the simulator, it shows a blackscreen (No sound) or anything. I waited for 30 mins and still shows a black screen. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Virtual Thunderbirds, LLC | Sponsored by Thrustmaster
sslechta Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Hey Viper, I didn't have it either. After the install copied from my other folders and installed the remaining files, I grabbed the C:\Users\[MyUserName]\Saved Games\DCS BetaBlahBlah\Configs\Input (folder) into the new folder so all of my settings would work on the first run pass. No issues here after that. sslechta Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 You're showing the Program Files\DCS World Open Beta. The new DIR should be Program Files\DCS World. Buzzles Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 That's clearly gone wrong. There's no Bin folder for starters, let alone Data, Api, dxgui, fui, the lua folders etc... I can't even say do a repair. I'm honestly not entirely sure how you're managing to load *something* up with a missing bin folder. Personally, as that's the beta installer (as per the folder being Open Beta), I'd download the release version and start with that. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
