xXNightEagleXx Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 (edited) I just want to share that i've seen a huge frame drop after the last update (i was still on the beta number 3). Before that, i was experiencing unstable 60 fps (55-70), then today after the update it dropped to unstable 42 fps (40-50). I've tried all settings but i saw no change, not even a frame up or down. So when i was about to give up i deleted the DCS folder inside saved games and restarted the game (thus automatically recreating everything). Well after that, the game went to unstable 75 fps (70-110) and always 60 fps with v-sync on. NE Edited December 30, 2015 by xXNightEagleXx

SDsc0rch Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 nope - did not help me i've lowered all of the settings one by one - nothing helps (although, setting visib distance to ultra hurts - as does increasing shadows to the max setting) i7-4790K | Asus Sabertooth Z97 MkI | 16Gb DDR3 | EVGA GTX 980 | TM Warthog | MFG Crosswind | Panasonic TC-58AX800U [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

aap_flanker Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Apart from control profiles what else should be backed up before deleting that folder? Missions and tracks screenshots if you care... If not... Delete all! I have had a boost of about +10 fps after doing this...
