I just want to share that i've seen a huge frame drop after the last update (i was still on the beta number 3). Before that, i was experiencing unstable 60 fps (55-70), then today after the update it dropped to unstable 42 fps (40-50).

I've tried all settings but i saw no change, not even a frame up or down. So when i was about to give up i deleted the DCS folder inside saved games and restarted the game (thus automatically recreating everything). Well after that, the game went to unstable 75 fps (70-110) and always 60 fps with v-sync on.

nope - did not help me

i've lowered all of the settings one by one - nothing helps (although, setting visib distance to ultra hurts - as does increasing shadows to the max setting)

Apart from control profiles what else should be backed up before deleting that folder?

Missions and tracks screenshots if you care...

If not... Delete all!

I have had a boost of about +10 fps after doing this... (Not too much but we all know that every single fps counts in dcs
