Two-Six Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I am wondering how the progression of missions works. I have done the 2nd mission in the campaign when you need to do a low fly-past of all the main cities in Georgia as a show of force to the locals with varying degrees of success...well I did it once. After re-setting the campaign and playing through mission one a few times, crashing and dying a few times. The thing is it doesn't go onto the next mission. I just keep keep getting it again and again. How does the mission progression work and what happens if you muff-up a mission? What are the mission complete goals of that mission...stay below 500 feet AGL? If you go higher is that a fail?
baltic_dragon Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Hey! Basically, to progress the mission you have to survive. Crash means replaying the mission. For mission 2 you additionally have to return to Kobuleti and land (the trigger zone is somewhere in the middle of the runway). This will be changed in the upcoming small patch which will be released after 10 January (so in M02 landing will not be necessary, but will score you extra points). You won't fail the mission if you fly above 500 feet AGL, but if you are too high some triggers may not work. In general landing at your home base without completing any objectives will enable you to progress (as would happen in real life). To have clarity - you died in M1 or M2 a couple of times? Two-Six Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 I just flew it again and got shot up then had to divert. I crash landed but didn't die. But I need to re-do that mission again, its flight number 4 now. Do I just keep getting it again until I do it? At what point do I loose the war?

I am really getting into it and I am highly motivated to sim on and see the war through. The trouble is I am really rubbish (but learning fast) I am sure the militants will win pretty soon with me in command lol

Two-Six Posted January 4, 2016 Author Posted January 4, 2016 Mission three..Go to that position on the map and look for bad guys, report, then kill them and then fly to a position relative to the bulls eye....Well that was a surprise and all new to me..I had to figure out how to make a new way point and then use the TADS to find where that bulls-eye position was... Dunno if I can remember how to do it again ;-) Very good! 1
