GunfighterSIX Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 VOR seems to work now with the Huey on the Caucus map, but the CDI is reversed when tracking to the VOR. The CDI works fine for the ILS and FM homing. HHC, 229th AHB, 1st Cav Div http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/
Gizzy Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 BUMP It seems this is Uh-1H specific rather than a general DCS map issue.
Sharkku Posted April 2, 2017 Posted April 2, 2017 (edited) Yeah, I noticed this too. Posted another thread about it, but in the wrong subsection it seems. Would be nice to have it fixed. This thread is over a year old now. Seems like it should be an easy fix, just multiply the deflection value by -1. Edited April 4, 2017 by Sharkku
ESA Dodo Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 Sorry, I have posted that in the wrong place too. It should be here. Yesterday I was trying to complete a radio navigation in Nevada and I notice that erroneous behaviour again. Previously I have noticed it using Tibilisi VOR. On course to the station with the TO flag, I made a deliberate right turn to check it out, and the CDI came also to the right. So it is not fixed. On course to the station. 030º Course selected, TO flag shown and needle centered. Right turn in the vicinity of the VORTAC station. Needle deflects the wrong side. And that is the way it should be:
Sharkku Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Great! Tracking a VOR has now been fixed! However, now the needle deflection is reversed when homing in on an FM transmitter... :/
kontiuka Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 Great! Tracking a VOR has now been fixed! However, now the needle deflection is reversed when homing in on an FM transmitter... :/Same with ILS.
