Pindol Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The Mirage 2000 has a system of flaps. ? The Mirage 2000 has its own air brake ?
NeilWillis Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The flaps are not controlled by the pilot, and if they exist, they're part of the FBW system. Yes airbrakes above and below the wings.

grunf Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Only the airbrake on/off toggle key works at the moment. There are no flaps :D.
Viking_355th Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 There's a keybind for flaps up/down, but I think that's just untrimmed cruft from a stock template. I expect it will be removed prior to completion to avoid confusion.
xxJohnxx Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 The Mirage 2000C has no flaps but it has slats instead. They normally work in an automatic mode, controlled by your current flight parameters. However, for checking them, you can extend and retract them manually if you so whish. Or in case of failure related to the engine. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
