Nealius Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 I have a single aircraft on CAP that I want to remain on CAP, and thus set an advanced waypoint action to "search and engage within zone", and the zone radius is set to 50,000 feet. Despite this he will chase down aircraft that are 100nm away. How do I prevent this?

Disable the (Cap -a or ) to look like (Cap -a -x) or delete it all together in the advanced waypoint commands for the first waypoint of the aircraft in question. Add Advanced waypoint Task > Start enroute task > Search then Engage in Zone > Engage radius=17000 or alternatively, for something slightly different Add Advanced waypoint Task > Start enroute task > Search then Engage > Engage Distance=40 Place waypoints around area you wish to patrol You can use an orbit command or a switch waypoint command to make him keep going around in circles depending on you requirements Regards, Ian.
