Hi,

I seem to only have the right side warthog throttle moving and working in the A-10c aircraft, the left side is not responding?

Any thoughts help??

I have unlocked them and tryed them separatly and togeather

Hence the aircraft is pulling to the left

Any help appreciated

That's weird, it should be mapped correctly out-of-the-box.

First you should check whether the left throttle works as at all. I think the fastest way is to start the TARGET Script Editor, launch the Device Analyzer, and from the top left icon select the throttle. Observe that the Rz axis properly shows the physical throttle movement. If it doesn't, I guess your Warthog is faulty and you should RMA it or get in touch with TM tech support.

If it works okay, simply bind it in DCS: Options -> Controls -> A-10C Sim (or "A-10C Game" if you have "Game Flight Mode" checked under the Gameplay tab) -> Axis commands -> Throttle left, and then just move the left throttle until it's shown in the dialog. (You could also do this in-game, but the more reliable way is to go to the options from the DCS main screen).

Hope that helps!

Edit: Oh, I forgot, what mission? If you do a cold-start, maybe your startup procedure is missing a step or two. Have you tried a mission that starts in the air, like one of the Instant Action missions?

A few things to try.

Ensure it is working in windows. Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Throttle - HOTAS Warthog > rightclick Game Controllers > Find the Throttle and select properties and you should see one of the bars move. This will let you know if it is a physical issue or not.

If that is good, it is probably just your axis settings in game. Go into the settings for the Axis and make sure nothing else is selected under any other controllers and ensure the right axis is selected under the throttle.

Hope that helps a bit.. your gona love that stick.

Thanks guys I have just binded the throttle in game and all seems good

just a quick question do I need to select the warthog stick in main menu/options, also I'm aware that this stick should work with this A10-C game out of the box with no programming correct??

so does every button on the stick?throttle have a function then in A10-C

Nope, once all axes and buttons are mapped, there should be no need to "select" it (not entirely sure what you mean be "selecting" it anyway).

And yeah, (almost) all buttons and axes should be mapped correctly by default.

Yes, almost.

The throttle friction slider (INCR/DECR) is not bound by default. Many people use it as Zoom View, or for the rudder pedals if they don't have a set yet.

And the stick's coolie hat is mapped to view controls by default. If you have a headtracker like TrackIR or FaceTrackNoIR, you should remap this to the trim controls, as in the real aircraft (by default, this hat uses a modifier for trim, I think it's LCTL, but better check the options to be sure).

In the A-10C cockpit, just click your physical buttons and observe that their virtual counterparts act accordingly.
